Cum funcționează

Parcursul tău de sănătate, pas cu pas.

From registration to a fully connected health record — how Nexmed Passport and Nexmed CRM work together.

Nexmed Passport
01

Create your Nexmed Passport

Register for a free account, verify your email, and complete your patient profile — name, CNP, date of birth, blood group, chronic conditions and emergency contact. This becomes your personal health identity on the platform.

02

Book appointments with connected clinics

Browse available clinics by department and service. Select a date and time slot — availability is calculated live from each clinic's practitioner schedules. The clinic assigns a practitioner automatically and confirms the appointment via FHIR.

03

Control what clinics can see

Each encounter in your Passport has a visibility toggle. Mark it as public and any connected Nexmed CRM that requests your history will see it. Keep it private and it stays in your Passport only. You can change this at any time.

04

Your record grows after each visit

After your appointment the clinic logs the outcome — diagnosis, prescriptions, referrals, lab results. These are sent back to your Nexmed Passport as a FHIR bundle and appear automatically in your record.

Nexmed CRM
01

Clinic onboarding by the platform admin

A platform administrator registers the clinic from the central panel. This automatically provisions a dedicated PostgreSQL database, creates the clinic subdomain, and sets up the OAuth2 credentials for bidirectional FHIR communication with Nexmed Passport.

02

Set up practitioners, departments and schedules

The clinic admin adds practitioners, defines departments and services, and configures working hours and absences. This availability data drives the slot calculation that patients see when booking through Nexmed Passport.

03

Pull patient records before a consultation

Before or during a consultation the practitioner can request the patient's shared medical history. Nexmed CRM fetches all encounters the patient has marked as public in their Passport and displays them in context — no manual transfer needed.

04

Log the encounter and push it back

After the visit the practitioner fills in the consultation note, prescriptions and referrals. On save, the encounter is sent to the patient's Nexmed Passport as a FHIR transaction bundle. PDF documents are generated asynchronously and attached.

Why FHIR R4?

HL7 FHIR R4 (Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resources, Release 4) is the international open standard for health data exchange. All data in Nexmed — patients, practitioners, appointments, encounters, observations — is modelled as FHIR resources and exchanged as transaction bundles over REST. This makes the data structured, portable, and compatible with any other FHIR-compliant system.
