Sănătatea ta.
Dosarele tale.
Your Passport.
Nexmed is a patient-owned digital health platform. Centralise your medical history, book appointments across connected clinics, and control exactly which records each provider sees — built on open HL7 FHIR R4.
Un dosar, orice clinică
Your complete medical history in one place. Connected clinics access only the records you choose to share — no duplicate paperwork, no data silos.
You control visibility
Each encounter can be toggled public or private. Public encounters are visible to any connected clinic; private ones stay in your Passport only.
Open standard, no lock-in
Built on HL7 FHIR R4 — the international standard for health data exchange. Structured, portable data, compatible with any FHIR-compliant system.
Cum funcționează
Trei pași pentru a controla parcursul tău de sănătate.
Create your Nexmed Passport
Register, verify your email, and complete your patient profile with personal and medical baseline data.
Book across connected clinics
Browse departments and services offered by clinics in the ecosystem. Book directly — no phone calls, no intermediaries.
Records come back to you
After each visit the clinic pushes the encounter — diagnosis, prescriptions, documents — back to your Passport via FHIR, building your record over time.
What the platform does
A full proof-of-concept covering both Nexmed Passport and Nexmed CRM.
FHIR R4 data exchange
Patient, Appointment, Encounter, Observation and more — all exchanged as FHIR R4 transaction bundles over REST.
Appointment booking
Book from Nexmed Passport or from Nexmed CRM. Slot availability is calculated in real time from practitioner schedules.
Per-encounter visibility
Patients toggle each encounter as public or private. Nexmed CRM only sees what the patient has made visible.
Lifetime health record
Every visit, prescription, lab result and diagnosis — pushed by a clinic via FHIR or logged manually in your Passport.
Nexmed CRM — isolated per clinic
Each clinic runs on its own Nexmed CRM tenant — a separate PostgreSQL database, its own subdomain, and a dedicated OAuth2 connection to Nexmed Passport. No data crosses tenant boundaries.
- FHIR R4 transaction bundles for data push and pull
- Practitioner, department and appointment management
- Role-based access: doctor, nurse, receptionist, lab technician
- Tenant database provisioned automatically on registration
Academic proof of concept. Nexmed was built as a thesis project at UMFST Târgu-Mureș (Medical Engineering). It demonstrates a working PHR architecture with FHIR R4 interoperability, not a production-ready medical system. Data protection and clinical compliance are outside the scope of this implementation.
